Global stock markets mostly gained on Wednesday (Dec. 8). United States (US) futures traded flat this morning as concerns that the Omicron variant could derail the economic recovery faded. Yesterday, US stocks extended gains for a third consecutive session as investors welcomed encouraging news about the Omicron variant and prospects of continued economic recovery.
