The so-called Komunitas Jokowi-Prabowo 2024 (the Jokpro 2024 Community), a volunteer group to support the pairing of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential race, continues to expand its organization across the country while collecting support for the pairing. But why do they do so even though the 1945 Constitution has limited the President’s term to only two periods at maximum? Jokowi himself has made it clear that he does not desire a third term. So, why bother?
