Malaysia has found its first case of the B.1.617 SARS-CoV-2 variant–the potentially more infectious double-mutant first found in India. The infected person is an Indian national who had entered the country by way of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Indonesia has also found two cases of said variant.
