The Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto said that the Indonesian Government had ruled on tax incentives for the automotive industry, aiming to boost the purchase of vehicles. The Government eliminated the value-added tax for luxury goods (PPnBN), effective March 1, 2021. Said incentives are awarded to vehicles under <1500 cc (sedan and 4×2).
