The Kartu Prakerja (pre-employment card), one of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s new programs, is under the spotlight after the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) recommended the Government to delay its implementation. The KPK has been urged to investigate any irregularity found. Some wonder whether the real target of this development is the Chairman of the Golkar Party Airlangga Hartarto, who is the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs and the head of the Job Creation Committee—the committee that the President tasked with handling the pre-employment card program.
