Global markets were mixed on Wednesday (Feb. 26) with US equities gaining for the first time in five days as investors digested fresh evidence of the widening coronavirus outbreak. Investors took advantage of a sharp drop in the previous session to open new positions. Still, there’s fear that the global economy will slow dramatically in the first quarter because of China’s new virus capped gains.
