Three days before the closure of the registration period, the Committee tasked with selecting the 2019-2023 leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has received 72 applications, including three from the National Police (POLRI) and one from the Attorney General Office (AGO). In the meantime, the so-called Wadah Pegawai KPK or WP KPK (the KPK’s Employee Organization) and the Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) continue to oppose the inclusion of candidates from the Police and the AGO.
