Weaker Q3 of Timah

State-owned tin producer Timah (TINS), the world second largest tin producer, booked a net profit of Rp85 billion in Jan-Sep of 2018 (9M) period, dropped 43% from Rp150 billion in the corresponding period of last year, due to a higher cost of revenues. On October 4, 2018, the Corruption Court of the Central Jakarta District Court finally held the first hearing of conglomerate Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo who is now standing trial as defendant in the case of alleged corruption related to the construction of the Riau Power Plant. The indictment for Johannes revealed the alleged involvement of big names in Golkar, including Setya Novanto.
