Imports to Indonesia surged 23.66% from a year earlier to US$17.62 billion in October of 2018 and after a marginally revised 14.25% rise in the previous month. Purchases of non-oil and gas jumped 22.58% to US$14.71 billion and those of oil and gas soared 27.72% to US$ 2.91 billion.
