Back in January 2018, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) told the press that they’re developing an investigation related to bribery in North Sumatera implicating the disgraced governor Gatot Pujo Nugroho. At the time, news spread that the KPK were aiming at dozens of members of the province’s DPRD. Last week, the press got a hold of a copy of a letter of notice on commencement of inquisition sent to the current Head of the North Sumatera DPRD.
