The Ministry of Transportation and Finance are now discussing tax for online taxi operators. Budi Karya Sumadi, Minister of Transportation, said that while his ministry did not want to limit the development of online taxi business, equal treatment with conventional taxi operators had to be considered. Sumadi urged transportation operator to comply with their tax obligation.
