PT Cita Mineral Investindo Tbk (CITA) mulls to build new smelter for bauxite or smelter great alumina (SGA) phase 2 under its entity, PT Well Harvest Winning Alumina Refinery. This project will cost US$360-400 million. CITA has since August last year produced alumina and per March 2017 it has exported 600,000 tons of alumina. CITA targets to sell one million tons of alumina this year with the production targeted at 2,700 tons per day. In first quarter (Q1) this year, CITA booked net sales of Rp130.3 billion and gross profit of Rp35.5 billion.
