US Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs in its 2016 Report classified Indonesia as both a transshipment point and a destination for illegal drugs. Indonesia remains a significant consumer of methamphetamine, cannabis, and heroin. Chief of The National Narcotics Board (BNN) Budi Waseso said recently that Indonesia is a Rp72 trillion (US$5.4 billion) per annum market for illegal drugs.To subscribe please click here
