It’s been almost a year since the administration of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, through the Minister of Youth & Sports Imam Nahrawi, decided to freeze the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI). The Government decided on said measure on April 17, 2015, in a move to clean up PSSI from mafia practices and to improve the quality of the country’s football consequently. But unfortunately, we’ve not yet seen significant progress on that front to date.
