The Commission XI of the House Representatives (DPR) approved the draft on the Law on Prevention and Crisis Management of Financial System (PPKSK Bill) proposed by the government last week. “This is the optimal result between the government and Parliament. Obviously, both political and technical deliberation have been gone through,” said Minister of Finance Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro. According to the minister, this bill contains prevention scheme in case the financial system is affected by worsening global economy. Currently, the government will soon set up the format of the bill for the next stage.
