Just few days after the arrival of the California-based film streaming service Netflix Inc (Nasdaq:NFLX) in Indonesia, the Indonesian Film Censorship Institute (LSF) said it wanted to block the website because of its uncensored content. The LSF Chairman Major General Ahmad Yani Basuki told the press on Monday (Jan. 11) that although the government responded positively to Netflix’s expansion to Indonesia, the content of their site must be subjected to censor as mandated by the 2009 Law regarding the Film Industry.To subscribe please click here
