The Attorney General HM Prasetyo told the press yesterday (Jan. 12) that he and his team had scheduled a session to question the former Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) regarding the latter’s scandalous meeting with the CEO of Freeport Indonesia Maroef Sjamsoeddin and businessman Mohammad Reza Chalid. Novanto was called for questioning today (Jan. 13). But the disgraced speaker’s legal representative has told the press that his client will not be attending the questioning.
