Christine Lagarde, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), had positive things to say about Indonesia’s economic development. She expressed her support of the country’s focus on reform and developing new growth engine for the economy. Lagarde met with President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on Tuesday (Sept. 1), to discuss the preparation for the annual meeting between IMF and the World Bank in 2018 to be held in Bali.
