The House of Representatives (DPR) have finally started to discuss the Bill to Amend Law No. 22/2001 on Oil and Gas (RUU Migas). On August 25, 2015, the House Commission VII held the first discussion meeting. The agenda of the meeting was to develop a list of experts to be summoned for inputs on the academic paper regarding the RUU Migas. During the meeting, the Commission VII also confirmed that the House would draft its own version of the bill, even though the Government’s version already exists.To subscribe please click here
