The cold war between the Red-and-White opposition (KMP) and the Great Indonesia Coalition (KIH) at the House of Representatives (DPR) may have been the cause behind the DPR’s so-far disappointing legislative performance. Entering the seventh month of their service, The DPR have not managed to discuss a single Bill (RUU) with the government. Legislative function appears neglected. This is sad considering the goals set in National Legislation Program (Prolegnas) priorities for 2015. The DPR is supposed to pass 37 RUU this year.To subscribe please click here
