“For this one case, we the KPK (the Corruption Eradication Commission) admit defeat,” said the acting chief of the KPK Taufiquerachman Ruki to the press. Ruki was referring to the graft case implicating Police Commissioner General Budi Gunawan. The latter challenged the process by which the KPK named him as a graft suspect in a pre-trial, and won.
