Golkar’s Judiciary Council will announce their ruling on the conflict between Aburizal “Ical” Bakrie’s Golkar faction and Agung Laksono’s Golkar faction. Both sides had claimed that they are the legitimate Golkar party, and both have sought the opinion of lower courts—West and Central Jakarta District Court. Both courts have ruled the respective petitioner’s claim inadmissible and that the legitimate mechanism of resolution shall be the tribunal of Golkar’s Judiciary Council.
