Internal conflict continues to tear the Golkar Party into two warring factions. The first faction led by Aburizal “Ical” Bakrie decided to move forward with its version of Golkar chairmanship congress (Munas) in Nusa Dua, Bali. The kicked off yesterday, and will last until later this week. The other faction led by Agung Laksono, meanwhile, had not only refused to acknowledge Ical’s Munas, they had also dismissed Ical from his chairmanship position and submitted the change of the party’s leadership to the Ministry of Law & Human Rights.To subscribe please click here
