Chief of the Constitutional Court (MK) Hamdan Zoelva is due to end his term of service this coming January 7, 2015. As per the procedure, the government formed a selection committee (Pansel) to find Hamdan Zoelva’s replacement. But the Court quickly responded to the government’s choices of Pansel appointees by sending a letter of opinion, citing potential conflict of interest with some of the names in the Pansel.
