President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo appointed retired state attorney Muhammad Prasetyo as the new Attorney General (AG) of the Republic yesterday (Nov. 20) afternoon. The Indonesian social media circles quickly lamented M. Prasetyo’s appointment, pointing to the man’s post-service political venture with the National Democrat (Nasdem) party.
