The Vice Governor of Jakarta Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, otherwise famously known as Ahok, has officially resigned from the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra). His letter of resignation was received by Gerindra’s central executive board yesterday afternoon. And since then, the Deputy Chairman of Gerindra Fadli Zon has told journalists that Gerindra accepts Ahok’s resignation.
