The Ethics Council of the Indonesian Association for Public Opinion Surveys (Persepi) finished its investigative audit on several polling agencies that produced the quick counts on July 9 presidential election. According to the Persepi’s Ethics Council, six agencies that predicted Joko “Jokowi” Widodo as the winner of the election had demonstrated the credibility of their data and methodology. The two other agencies claiming Prabowo’s victory, however, didn’t show up and refused to be audited.
