There was something unusual on the celebration of May Day last week. The Confederation of Indonesian Workers Union (KSPI) held a fancy gathering at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) stadium, Central Jakarta. The union also invited local rock band Kotak to entertain the workers. Interestingly enough, Prabowo Subianto, patron leader of the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra) was invited and was the only guess speaker during the event despite claims from the organizer that Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo and Aburizal Bakrie were also invited. So who is the key person behind this unusual fancy show?
