The Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P), the National Democrats (Nasdem), and the National Awakening Party (PKB) together held an event to declare Joko “Jokowi” Widodo as their presidential nominee earlier today. Around the same time, Gerindra Party’s presidential hopeful Prabowo Subianto attended the National Mandate Party’s national work meeting at which the party unanimously agreed to offer its chairman Hatta Rajasa as Prabowo’s running mate.
