We have more interesting news from the Jakarta City Hall. In a meeting held on Wednesday Jan. 8, 2014 the Vice Governor of Jakarta Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) instructed his staff to put an end to land speculation. One of the plans is to come up with a new regulation stipulating that land and/or building cannot be sold within 2 years of the date of purchase.
