The development of Central Kalimantan Coal Railway has suffered a long delay. We gave you an update in November 2013 about a protest staged against the issuance of a by-law that would pave way for the development of the project. We spoke to a source close to the leadership of the Province Government of Central Kalimantan from whom we heard that the tender process for the construction of the coal railway is now down to two companies and therefore nearing final.
