Out of 10 major banks on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by total assets, only two are controlled by Indonesian conglomerates. They are Bank Central Asia (controlled by Djarum Group) and Bank Panin (Panin Group). Other conglomerates, however, have built up their presence in the sector.
