PT Supra Primatama (Biznet) is targeting customer growth of 30% throughout 2024, even though Elon Musk’s Starlink service officially enters Indonesia. The company has also prepared a number of strategies to achieve this target. Biznet Senior Marketing Manager Adrianto Sulistyo said that currently Biznet has 600,000 customers in the first quarter (Q1) of 2024.
Adrianto hopes that the 600,000 existing customers that Biznet has acquired will not move to other internet providers, such as Starlink. This is because there are differences in the prices given so that it really depends on people’s purchasing power. Another strategy carried out by Biznet is to provide a promotion in the form of free 100 Mbps during the June 2024 period. This strategy is carried out so that Biznet customers get more internet experience.
Adrianto said, Biznet’s cheapest service price is set to start from Rp175,000 per month for Biznet Home with a speed of 50 Mbps. This service is able to contribute around 30% of total revenue throughout January-March 2024. Meanwhile, last year, Biznet was able to record revenue growth of around 20-30%. Biznet also admitted that revenue growth in Q1 of 2024 was still on track with the target of 10%.
