Muhaimin Iskandar a.k.a Cak Imin has been reelected as the chairman of PKB for five more years. He announced the new lineup of his party’s central executive board (DPP) for the 2019-2024 period, and unsurprisingly, got rid of his critics and opposers such as Abdul Kadir Karding and Lukman Edy. To replace them Imin appointed younger figures such as Muhammad Hasanuddin Wahid as the new secretary general. The son of the elected Vice President KH Ma’ruf Amin is also in the new lineup, which many see as evidence of Imin’s strong alliance with Ma’ruf.
