Tourist arrivals in Indonesia jumped 22.54% year-on-year to 1.41 million people in December 2018 from 1.15 million in the same month a year earlier. Bali was the main destination, receiving around 496 thousand tourists in December, followed by Jakarta (225 thousand) and Batam (233 thousand). Considering 2018 full year, tourist arrivals grew 12.58% compared to the same period a year ago to 15.80 million.
