Telkom Indonesia (TLKM), through its unit, Metranet, and Hungarian mobile payment company Cellum Global have on Tuesday (Jan 30) signed a memorandum for a strategic cooperation. Telkom is set to acquire a 30.4% stake in Cellum in two steps. Last year, Telkom announced it will acquire three foreign firms as part of an effort to expand its businesses, dealing with FinTech and satellites. Telkom allocates Rp10 trillion for this.
