Foreign direct investment into Indonesia, excluding investment banking and the oil and gas sector, increased 10.6% year-on-year to a record high of Rp112.0 trillion in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2017, following a 12% growth in the previous period. It was equivalent to US$8.36 billion. For the full year, FDI rose 8.5% to Rp430.5 trillion from Rp396.5 trillion in 2016.
