Indonesian travel apps, Traveloka has raised approximately US$500 million through investments from global online travel leader Expedia, Inc., East Ventures, Hillhouse Capital Group, JD.com and Sequoia Capital within the last year. The investment highlight confidence in the company and potential of Southeast Asia travel market. It also conferred a $2 billion valuation on local online travel startup.
