Investors are believed to have sold off banking shares on Friday last week (Feb. 19) due to panic selling factor. Some banking stocks dropped by up to 4.5%, with total trading in banking stocks reaching Rp3.18 trillion, representing 40% of total market trading value. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) was hit hardest, seeing its shares plunge 6.42%.
