The breaking news for politics over last weekend was the firing of a senior golkar member, who is concurrently the Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare, Agung Laksono. Various national media outlets reported that Aburizal “Ical” Bakrie fired Agung Laksono because the latter had openly stated his disagreement with the party’s current political stance.
