Mitra Adiperkasa (MAPI) is one of benchmarks in retail industry because of its retail, department stores, and cafe & restaurant operations. MAPI, for some, is an important indicator for middle income group of the country. In the first half of 2014, however, MAPI reported 31% fall in net profit due to higher operating expenses.
