According to national media outlet reports, Indonesian films, videos and photography industry has been able to contribute up to 8.4 trillion rupiah to Indonesia’s gross domestic product (GDP) in 2013. The level of contribution is 13.5 percent higher compared to the previous year’s 7.4 Trillion Rupiah.
