President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has received three names of the Constitutional Court (MK) justice candidates from the selection committee. Pretty much as predicted, all of the said three candidates are female law experts. Therefore whomever the President choose as a new MK justice to replace Maria Farida Indrati, Jokowi can maintain female representation in the MK. And considering Maria will soon end her term as MK justice by August 13, President Jokowi will likely choose one among the three candidates as Maria’s replacement and to sworn in the replacement within the next few days.
