Suryani Mulyana (Souw Lee Nie), wife of the late businessman Hadi Budiman (Ang Kok Ha)—-founder of Imora/Prospect Motor, one of the largest business groups in Indonesia, has passed away Sunday (Sep 15) at 90 years old. Suryani leaves behind eight children, including Muljadi Budiman, commissioner of PT Tifico Fiber Indonesia (Tifico) Tbk.
Erwin Raharjo Passes Away
Erwin Suryo Raharjo (Lim Sin Kwang), co-founder of Sibalec, the largest cable distributor in Indonesia, has passed away Sunday (Sept 15) at 92 years old. Erwin is grand father of Bayu Adiwijaya Soepono, president director of PT Supreme Cable Manufacturing Tbk (Sucaco/SCCO), the largest cable manufacturer in the country.

Pasha Habibie, grandson of the late president BJ Habibie (BJH), is now expected to realize BJH’s dream in commercial production of R-80 aircraft. Pasha Nur Fauzan, son of Ilham Akbar Habibie, is currently studying aeronauticals at Illinois Institute of Technology (USA). BJH often mentioned Pasha’s name, who he considered having similar passion in the aerospace industry.

Mitsubishi Corp and JAPEX acquired 50% interest in the Kangean production sharing contract (PSC) back in 2007 from Bakrie Group with estimated enterprise value of US$720 million. Two years later, JBIC and BTMU signed syndication loan facilities of US$300 million to finance development of the so-called Terang, Sirasun, and Batur (TSB) gas fields. This year, Bakrie Group repurchased 25% interest from Mitsubishi.

Former chairman of CIMB Group Nazir Razak, who is younger brother of former Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak, has established Ikhlas Capital, a private equity firm specializing in ASEAN region. The PE reportedly planned to raise US$1 billion fund at the time of questionable performance of private equity firms in the region.
