PT Berau Coal Energy Tbk (BRAU), member of Sinarmas Group, has finally released its financial statement for the period ended December 31, 2022. After the stock was delisted from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in November 2017, not much we knew about BRAU, immediate parent of PT Berau Coal, one of the largest coal miners in the country.

PT Amman Mineral International Tbk (AMMN), parent of gold-copper miner PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT), will start trading on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with market capitalization of up to Rp129.5 trillion or US$8.9 billion, making it one of the largest issuers in the market.

The process is ongoing and meanwhile, the TaniFund license has just been suspended by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). On top of all that, lenders had reported the issue to the POLRI Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim). What a mess.

Laksamana Sukardi, former minister of state-owned enterprises and former treasurer of PDI-P, has decided to return to politics. Laksamana has joined Partai Kebangkitan Nusantara (PKN), a new political party established by loyalists of Anas Urbaningrum, former chairman of Democratic Party.
