Henry Onggo, the founder of PT Ratu Sayang International, passed away at 85 years old. He leaves behind a big family and some important commercial property assets.

PT Energi Sterila Higiena (Ensterna/Sterina) claims to be the pioneer in Indonesia commercial irradiation services and perhaps this is true. This seems to be the first time a company in the field of nuclear technology has appeared to the public. Behind the company is a familiar name, Dahlan Iskan. The former Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) is reportedly one of the company’s founders. Unfortunately, this information became public after the company was involved in legal problems.

Hendry Lie, co-founder of the troubled Sriwijaya Air, has reportedly been named suspect in the tin corruption scandal dragging already a lot of people (businessmen and government officials). Hendry is suspect in his capacity as beneficiary owner of PT Tinindo Internusa (TIN), which is implicated in the massive corruption case.

Mooryati Soedibyo, the founder and owner of cosmetic company Mustika Ratu (MRAT) has just passed away at 96 years old. She married Soedibyo Purbo Hadiningrat in 1956, and the couple had children named Putri Kuswisnuwardhani, Djoko Ramiadji, and Haryo Tedjo Baskoro. Djoko is recently listed as President Commissioner, while Haryo is listed as Commissioner of MRAT.

The new capital city (IKN) Nusantara in East Kalimantan will have three hospitals—-Abdi Waluyo, Mayapada, and one more. Mayapada Hospital, controlled by Dato Tahir’s Family, reportedly investing Rp500 billion in the capital city. 

Mayapada Group, controlled by the family of Dato Tahir—-member of the President’s advisory council, is one of business groups looking very ‘aggressive’ in supporting the President’s ‘projects’, including the new capital city (IKN) Nusantara in East Kalimantan province and development of a techno park in Solo, whose mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka is President Jokowi’s son and the elected vice president.

Investigation into corruption case related to illegal mining within the concession of state miner Timah (TINS), one of the world’s largest tin producers, has dragged more names as suspects. Businessman Robert Priantono Bonosusatya, co-owner of MMS Group, one of the largest mining business groups in the country, has been examined as witness in the case, but yet to be named suspect.

Erna Hartany Djuhadi (Tan Bie Swan) has just passed away at the age of 87. Erna, wife of the late Subijanto Djuhadi, the second generation of cigarette producer, PT Nojorono Tobacco International, leaves one of the richest families in the country.
