Earlier this month the Attorney Generals’ Office (AGO) mentioned that they are investigating an alleged corruption implicating the troubled textile giant PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (SRIL or Sritex), but the institution refused to explain more. Towards the end of last week, the wait is finally over as the AGO named Iwan Setiawan Lukminto, the president director of the company at the time of the incident, as suspect in a case of alleged corruption. Along with Iwan Setiawan, two officials of regional banks were also named suspects. The details of the crime are unacceptable.
