On January 28, 2020, the Constitutional Court held a plenary session and submitted their 2019 annual report. The session was attended by many parties including President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, Speaker of the House of Representatives Puan Maharani and Chief of the Supreme Court Hatta Ali. In the session, the Constitutional Court also conveyed the level of compliance to their decisions. Although the level of compliance is high, to date there are many decisions that have not been honored. The Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court Anwar Usman said that failure to comply with their decision is the same as disobeying the constitution.
