For months, we have been told that fiscal efficiency is unavoidable. Ministries have trimmed budgets, official travel has been reduced, regional governments have struggled to finance personnel spending, and thousands of prospective Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) remain uncertain about their appointments because local administrations say they cannot afford additional payroll obligations.
