Indonesian miner PT Ithaca Resources, linked to President Prabowo Subianto’s six coal concessions in East Kalimantan province, has reportedly agreed to acquire the collapsed Australian coal miner Vitrinite for A$200 million. Vitrinite, which operated the Vulcan coal mine in the Bowen Basin, fell into administration, owing A$400 million to creditors. To subscribe please click here
